Our editorial mission
We build practical guides that connect place, bird and photography. A traveler should be able to plan a field day. A beginning birder should understand the habitat. A serious birder should see careful sourcing and honest uncertainty. A photographer should find the conditions conventional destination summaries often omit.
Our standard
We prioritize primary land-management sources for access and regulations, established bird authorities for identification and life history, and current local organizations for regional context. We do not invent contributors, experiences, sightings or credentials. Every substantive field guide carries a visible update date and a restrained source list.
