The Wild Threshold is designed to collect as little visitor data as practical.
Data collection
The site does not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, advertising pixels, newsletter forms, comments or user accounts. Contact-form submissions are processed by the site’s server-side handler, protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, and used only to review and respond to the inquiry. The hosting provider and Cloudflare may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested page and timestamps for security and delivery.
Local search
Search runs in the visitor’s browser against the publication’s own content index. Search terms are not intentionally sent to a third-party search service.
External links
Source and reference links lead to independent websites with their own privacy practices. This policy does not govern those sites.
Retention and changes
Contact messages are retained only as long as reasonably needed for correspondence, licensing or correction records. Material changes to collection practices are reflected on this page.
